Building of

the parliament in Berlin, the Reich (German Reichstagsgebäude) - since 1999 the seat of the German Parliamen t - Bundestag. Since 1994, venue of the National Assembly (German Bundesversammlung), which takes place every five years to elect the President (German: Bundespräsident). Edifice is located in Berlin-Mitte. Neo-Renaissance building was built in 1884-1894 and designed by Paul Wallota. By 1918, the parliament was held here Feb Reich. In the years 1919-1933 were held here sitting of parliament of the Weimar Republic.
